Eliezer Sierra has worked as a trilingual interpreter (Spanish/English/ASL) since 2001 in numerous settings including, Video Relay Service, Video Remote Interpreting, Post-Secondary, and Performing Arts. He earned a master’s degree in ASL/English Interpreting with a concentration in Interpreting Pedagogy from the University of North Florida. Eliezer is passionate about teaching and mentoring and has taught at the undergraduate level in various ASL/English Interpreter Education Programs in the state of Florida. Currently, he works as a Program Manager in the Interpreter Education and Professional Development Department at Sorenson Communications. In addition, he has served on the Board of Directors for Florida’s affiliate chapter of RID in the roles of President and Vice-President. Eliezer was born and raised on the island of Puerto Rico and has lived in Florida since 2004. In his free time, he enjoys strong coffee, traveling, reading mystery novels, building LEGO sets, and spending time with his partner, Ryan, and his corgis, Artie and Rocket.
