Getting Documented CEU’s
The RID National conference is the perfect opportunity to get documented CEU’s You can earn documented CEU’s through RID Conference Workshops,
Session Types
Different types of sessions offer different learning formats and opportunities to interact with presenters and colleagues. Each session type is represented by the two letters located in the parentheses below.
Featured Sessions (FS)
50 or 80 minutes
– Experts invited by the Convention Committee
– Related to the convention theme
RID Conference Workshops (WS) 30-50-80 or 5 hour sessions
– Intensive skills development
– Hands-on learning and discovery
Interest Group Networking Sessions (IG)
30 to 80 minutes
– Groups that share a common area of interest or expertise
– Promote sharing of ideas and strategies
Special Sessions (SS)
50 to 110 minutes
– Sponsored by RID workgroups and committees (community Forum, Board Forums)
– Address priorities of the association
Special Events (SE)
1 to 4 hours
– Range from informational to fitness to fun
– Some require preregistration
Meetings (MT)
50 to 110 minutes
– Meetings of different groups happening during the conference
